A Very Rare and Wonderful Individuals Antique Boy Scouts of America Merit Badge Sash with Large Square Tan Merit Badges - also other awards and items. With this group is an envelope addressed to Dr.

From the Boy Scouts Headquarters in Sacramento, dated 1934, whom I believe was the Scout who achieved the accomplishments shown in this Group and was apparently active in Scouting through World War II. Accordingly, I would assume that he earned most of the Merit Badges in the teens and some in the 20's (other than four of the loose ones which are from 1931 to 1935; Stamp Collecting 1931-33, Interpreting 1934-35, Reading 1934-35, Marksmanship 1934-35).

Some of the more valuable Full Square Merit badges are Automobiling, Textiles, Farm Records, Surveying, Corn Farming, Architecture, Weather, Salesmanship, Stamp Collecting, Interpreting, Farm Layout, Agriculture, Art, Basketry, Chemistry, Masonry, Farm Home, Photography, Reptile Study & Animal Industry. The Group includes the Sash with 42 Merit Badges, the 6 loose Merit Badges, the Envelope, his Antique Rank Pins, his World War II Red Cross Enameled Pin and the Red Cross Cloth Patch. Scouting Collectibles' by George Cuhaj. Then on top of that, add all of the other great items and whatever it's appreciation in value in the last 20 years and the Rarity of the Full Square Merit Badges that have not been cut down (just folded under).

This Magnificent Antique Merit Badge Sash, etc. Would make a very impressive addition to any great Boy Scout Museum Collection, any Great Private Scout Collection or would make a Incredible Gift to a Serious Boy Scout Memorabilia Collector who's interested in the Rarest and Best.
